ABOUT REV. CAROLE O'CONNELL - MINISTER EMERITA
Carole
O'Connell retired after 16 years of service to Unity North Atlanta Church and 30 years to UNITY in March of 2005. She was named Minsister Emerita of Unity North on March 27th 2005. Prior to that, she was the Sr. Minister of Unity North since 1990. She has been an ordained Unity Minister
since 1987. Carole co-founded the Unity Church in Jupiter,
Florida and the Unity Churches of Macon and Riverdale, GA.
From 1983 to 1989, Carole was the Associate Minister of Atlanta
Unity Church. Carole has also served as President of the Southeast
Region for Unity Churches. Carole is married to Don Discenza,
former Unity North Music Minister and they live in Lake Arrowhead,
GA.
Carole offers fresh perspectives on the teachings of ancient
masters as well as interpreting modern day wisdom including
Abraham-Hicks, the Course in Miracles as well as the traditional
teachings of the Fillmores and Ernest Holmes. Through her humor and personal examples listeners find insight
and guidance for every area of life. Carole has ministered
to and taught many thousands in her 25 years of ministry.
She currently serves Unity North Atlanta Church as Minister Emerita. Carole is a warm, humorous and powerful speaker
who is committed to teaching the universal principles of creative
living. She speaks nationally, has been featured on local
television and in the Atlanta Journal Constitution
and inspires the greater Atlanta community through her work
at Unity North and the many Satellite Churches that she has
helped to establish.

Rev. Carole's final Sunday as Unity North Sr. Minsiter was March, 27th 2005.
Rev. Carole was presented with the title of 'Minister Emerita' on Easter Sunday, 2005. In this ceremonial role, Rev. Carole has a visible presence in the Unity North Community as a teacher, speaker and visionary. In addition, a spiritual scholarship was established in her name.
