Architects of the Beloved Community are spiritual revolutionaries who realize that the solution to our 21st century global challenges is a spiritual one. Love is a living, powerful energy that holds together the fabric of the created world. The world is looking for love masters, and each of us is that potential love master.

In this talk we will explore:

Why we are not here to “save” the world, but to serve an emerging paradigm of love, connectedness, compassion, and selfless service.
That there is no separation between our spiritual, social, and political endeavors which are all governed by the immutable principle that we are one family co-creating the destiny of our planet.
How every member within a spiritual community is empowered to be a transforming agent.

Michael Bernard Beckwith

Michael Bernard Beckwith is the founder and spiritual director of the Agape International Spiritual Center, and founder of the Agape University located at the Los Angeles headquarters of the Agape Movement. He is also a co-founder and president of the Association for Global New Thought (AGNT). Dr. Beckwith is an international speaker and teacher of meditation, originator of the Life Visioning Process and featured teacher in the best-selling book and film, The Secret. His books include: Spiritual Liberation~Fulfilling Your Soul’s Potential, Inspirations of the Heart, Forty Day Mind Fast Soul Feast, and A Manifesto of Peace. His most recent release, Life Visioning: A Transformative Process for Activating Your Unique Gifts and Highest Potential, was released in January 2012. He has been a guest on The Oprah Show, Larry King Live, Tavis Smiley, and his own PBS special, The Answer Is You. Michael is a sought-after meditation teacher, a visionary, and has won numerous humanitarian awards.

Rickie Byars Beckwith

Rickie Byars Beckwith is a singer-songwriter, whose transcendent music opens the heart, touches the soul, and uplifts the spirit. Rickie is the Music and Arts Director of the Agape International Spiritual Center where she directs the 200-member Agape International Choir. She has performed for His Holiness the Dalai Lama, at Green Festivals across North America, and at countless Peace Concerts that promote unity and the principles of non-violence. Rickie’s newest CD and book compilation, Let My Soul Surrender, was released in the Summer 2011.

There will only be a 45 minute lunch break during the event.

Bring your own lunch or order one of the options below for $10 per meal.

Turkey Sandwich: Oven Roasted Turkey on whole grain bread, lettuce, tomato, chips, pickle, cookie, fruit, bottled water
Vegetarian Wrap: Spinach wrap, spinach, tomato, zucchini, red onions, hummus, chips, cookie, fruit, bottled water
Chef Salad: Ham and turkey, lettuce, tomato, boiled egg, cheese, cookie, bottled water

Childcare

$15 for the first child and $10 for each additional sibling, payable when children are dropped off. Please reserve a space for your children by sending an e-mail to childcare@unitynorth.org so that we can adequately plan for them. Parents or guardians are responsible for providing meals and snacks.
